Recently moved to Watertown and this place is perfect for several visits a week... very friendly staff, food is consistently good, prices are great. Would love to see them get the toy train going again that goes all the way through the restaurant. Wonder how much trouble that could be...

This is a great small town cafe!! Breakfast was amazing - pancakes and omelette were huge and server was friendly and accommodating. Don't bother with the comment about it being dirty -- it's just a small town cafe so there are areas that may need upgrading but that adds to the charm! But no doubt the food was awesome!

The train-themed dining room is in a repurposed storefront just off "The Square". It even has a train that circuits the room near the ceiling. Our server was kind, efficient, and helpful, even with a packed dining room. Not at all like Kandi. I had the patty melt with fries and my wife had the club with onion rings. My patty melt was just like I'd make at home very tasty with two kinds of cheese. My wife reports the club was good. The fries ordered crispy, were somewhat soggy but the onion rings were fantastic. All in all the crowd seemed to be enjoying lunch and there seemed to be some local/regular customers mixed in with those of us from the train. Tip - get the onion rings Tip 2 - Watertown has about 2000 residents and there were about 500 "tourists" from the train so getting a seat may take a few minutes at any place in town. Tip 3 - Restrooms are at a premium in town when the train is there.
